Personalization

An opening line worth reading, for every lead.

Pal reads each lead’s website, checks whether they fit what you sell and writes one opening sentence for email 1 about something real he found there. Every fact is checked against the page it came from.

  • Researched from their site, written for your offer
  • Quotes and numbers must appear on the page
  • 1,000 a month included on Starter, every plan has them

How a line is made

Read, check, then write one sentence

When a lead is added to a campaign, Pal reads a few relevant pages of their company website, not the whole site. He works out what they do, whether they fit your offer, and writes a line tied to a real project, client type or service area.

  • The homepage plus up to three pages picked from the sitemap
  • Fit is decided before a word is written
  • Email 1 waits for research, never more than 30 minutes

What we write, and what we don’t

Generic icebreakers get ignored. So we don’t write them.

“Saw your blog post” and “loved your recent post” are what prospects learned to skip. Pal only writes a line when he finds something real on their site that connects to your offer. Otherwise the lead gets your standard opener, never a made-up line.

  • An AI reviewer rejects flattery, guesses and generic lines
  • No copied template wording
  • Nothing specific found? Your standard opener instead

  • I came across your website and was impressed by your innovative solutions.

Flattery. Fits any company on earth.

  • Loved your recent post on LinkedIn!

A guess. Nothing on their site says so.

    Rejected
  • Congrats on all the growth you’ve been seeing lately.

    No fact behind it. Rejected.

Not a fit

The wrong leads are flagged before you send

Reading their site tells Pal what a company actually does. Leads that don’t fit your offer, and competitors, are flagged before email 1 goes out, so you can remove them. Fewer wasted sends, fewer spam complaints.

  • Not-a-fit and competitor leads never count toward your allowance
  • You decide: remove them, or keep them on your standard opener
  • The reason is written next to each flag

API and MCP

Nothing to manage. Or everything, from your own agent.

There is no personalization column to keep up. Turn opening lines on for a campaign and every new lead gets researched. The same research runs over the REST API and the MCP server, including a facts-only mode that hands the checked facts, each with its quote and page, to your own AI agent.

  • Works on campaigns with no extra setup
  • personalize_leads and list_opening_lines over MCP, the same over REST
  • quote_personalization tells you what a run will use before you start it

FAQ

Questions about personalization

Short, straight answers.

Does it slow down sending?

Research starts the moment a lead joins a campaign. Email 1 waits for it, but never more than 30 minutes; after that it goes out with whatever is ready, which is your standard opener if research has not finished. Follow-ups are never held.

What happens if nothing specific is found?

The lead gets your standard opener. Pal never fills the gap with a guess, a compliment or a made-up fact, and a line that fails the checks is thrown away and not counted.

Do leads that aren’t a fit count toward my allowance?

No. Not-a-fit leads, competitors and sites that cannot be read are never counted. A lead that already has a line you wrote is not counted either.

Which sites can’t be read?

Sites that do not load, parked or nearly empty sites, and leads with no company website. Pages that only render with JavaScript are usually still readable. Leads like these get your standard opener and are not counted.

Can I write my own lines?

Yes. A line you write on a lead, or a personalization field you import with the lead, always wins over a researched one. You can also edit or regenerate any researched line, or switch a lead to the standard opener.

Where does the line go in my email?

It is the first sentence of email 1. The rest of the email is yours, word for word, and you can preview real emails before you launch.

How many do I get?

Starter 1,000, Growth 2,500 and Scale 5,000 a month, reset on the 1st. Extra blocks of 1,000 a month are $4.95/mo each. If you run out, sending continues and the remaining leads get your standard opener.

Can my own AI agent use it?

Yes. Research is available over the REST API and the MCP server, including a facts-only mode that returns the checked facts and quotes so your agent can write its own line.
