Affiliate program
Earn 25% of every subscription payment from customers you refer, for as long as they stay. How the link, the hold period and payouts work.
What you earn
Every EmailPal account gets a referral link on the Affiliate page. When someone signs up through it, you earn 25% of every subscription payment they make, not just the first, for as long as they remain a paying customer.
Subscription payments cover the plan fee and its add-ons: mailbox overage, warming, pre-warmed inboxes, dedicated IPs and verification blocks.
What does not earn commission
- Domain purchases and renewals
- Domain balance top-ups
- Tax
- Payments that are refunded or disputed
- Your own account. You cannot refer yourself.
How a referral is credited
The link remembers a visitor for 60 days. If they sign up in that window, the new workspace is credited to you permanently. If they click a different affiliate's link later, the most recent link wins.
The hold period
Each commission is held for 30 days before it becomes payable. If the payment behind it is refunded or disputed in that time, the commission is reduced or removed with it. The Affiliate page shows each commission as *In hold*, *Payable*, *Paid* or *Refunded*.
Getting paid
Payouts are made by hand once your payable balance reaches $25. Smaller balances roll forward. Add a payout email, and any notes on how you would like to be paid, at the bottom of the Affiliate page. Only an owner or admin of the workspace can change them.
FAQs
Can I see who signed up?
You see how many people signed up and how many are paying. Individual customers appear anonymously in your commission list.
Do AppSumo lifetime customers earn me commission?
Only on what they pay for. A lifetime licence covers the plan fee, so the plan itself earns nothing. Add-ons billed to their card, such as warming or extra mailboxes, do.
