Pre-warmed inboxes
Pre-warmed vs fresh mailboxes
Fresh mailboxes are new domains and inboxes you provision and warm yourself. Pre-warmed mailboxes are already aged, authenticated and placement-tested. EmailPal sells both: register or BYO plus $0.60 warming, or lease pre-warmed inventory at $3/mo.
Two ways to get senders
Cold email infrastructure usually offers a "fresh" path and a "pre-warmed" path. EmailPal does too. They are different products, billed differently, with different sending caps.
| Fresh (you provision) | Pre-warmed (you lease) | |
|---|---|---|
| Domain | You register from $1 or bring your own | EmailPal registered and parked 90+ days |
| Mailbox names | You choose | Already assigned |
| Authentication | Written at setup, then re-verified | Already written and re-verified |
| Warming | $0.60/mo until campaign-ready | Finished before listing; stays on, included |
| Cold emails / day | 40 once campaign-ready | 15 from day one |
| Price | Plan mailbox ($69 for 50, then $1) + warming | $3/mo, 90-day minimum, outside plan allowance |
| When you can send | After measured placement says so | As soon as the claim job finishes |
| 90-day term | No | Yes |
| You own the domain | Yes | No |
If you only remember one line: fresh is infrastructure you build; pre-warmed is infrastructure you rent ready.

When to use fresh mailboxes
Use register a domain or bring your own when:
- You want brandable names (acmehq.com, not a generic parked domain)
- You want to pick mailbox handles
- You can wait for aging plus the warming ramp (~7 days on an aged domain, 14+ on a new one)
- You want the higher 40/day cap once the mailbox is campaign-ready
- You want the domain to remain yours if you leave
Enable warming on every fresh mailbox. Do not send campaign volume on day one. Domains and mailboxes is the hub.
When to use pre-warmed mailboxes
Use Pre-warmed Mailboxes by EmailPal when:
- You need to send this week, not after a ramp
- You want the inbox rate on the listing before you pay
- You can live with 15 cold emails per mailbox per day
- You do not need to choose the domain or the display names

Aged but not pre-warmed
EmailPal also sells aged, unwarmed domains from $19. Those domains have been parked 60+ days. They are not pre-warmed. You still run the accelerated warming ramp after you buy them. That is the middle path: you own the name, you still wait about a week.
FAQs
Can I convert a fresh mailbox into a pre-warmed one?
No. Pre-warmed inventory is a separate pool. Warming a mailbox you created does not move it onto the pre-warmed shelf, and claiming a pre-warmed mailbox does not turn it into a plan mailbox you can rename.
Which one is cheaper?
A plan mailbox plus $0.60 warming is cheaper per month than a $3 lease if you can wait. The lease is paying for time and a measured inbox rate, not for a lower unit cost.
Can I mix both?
Yes. Many workspaces send from plan mailboxes on their own domains and lease pre-warmed inventory for extra volume that has to start immediately. Pre-warmed does not eat a Starter mailbox slot.
Are fresh mailboxes Google accounts?
No. Hosted SMTP, same as pre-warmed. Google/Outlook can be connected for warming only. SMTP vs Google vs Outlook.
