Domains

Bring your own domain

Point an existing domain at EmailPal. Same authentication records, same re-verification, uses a domain slot, no registration fee.

How BYO works

  1. Domains → add a domain you already own.
  2. Change nameservers or copy the records we show (SPF, DKIM ×2, DMARC, MX) at your current DNS host.
  3. Wait for public verification. Green means resolvers on the internet see our values.

There is no registration fee. The domain consumes a slot on your plan.

Do not keep a second ESP's SPF include on the same name if you can avoid it — lookup limits and split-brain authentication are how BYO setups fail quietly.

FAQs

Can I keep website A records?

Yes, if you copy records instead of moving nameservers, or if the zone we serve still has your web records. If you delegate nameservers entirely, add the web records on our side or the site will disappear.

MX points at EmailPal — where do existing inboxes go?

Inbound will follow MX. If you still need Google or Microsoft to receive mail, this domain is the wrong one to send cold email from. Use a dedicated sending domain.
